ACTMA was established to help launch the careers of the best new faces that Atlantic Canada has to offer.
ACTMA is a preliminary of the Canadian Model & Talent Convention which is held in Toronto.
ACTMA is a unique weekend conceived for two major reason;
1. recognition of Models and Talent. We often see Models and Talent of great potential never realizing their dreams and goals. There are many reasons why good Models and Talent are not discovered, but with the expertise and experience of ACTMA, talented people can gain unqualified recognition. It is very expensive for Agents to travel to scout in regional centers and it is equally expensive for regional Models/Talent to travel to major markets. ACTMA brings everyone together under one roof at an affordable cost to all involved. As with anything worth pursuing, beginning a career in Modelling or Acting is an investment, however, it should not cost enormous amounts of money or time to discover whether or not the Model/Talent has what it takes to make it in the industry.
2. opportunity to live the life of a model/talent for a weekend. The weekend is formatted to give the opportunity for upcoming models/actors to be put into the scenario of going to castings, jobs, and much more.
ACTMA is not only looking for Models and Talent for National & International placement but also locally in Atlantic Canada. ACTMA is produced by Façade International which is a Model and Talent, School and Agency based out of Moncton, New Brunswick and represents Models/Talent in Atlantic Canada, which means some Modelling jobs does not need the required measurements and requirements as for the National and International markets.
ACTMA makes the maximum effort to create the right time and place for the participating Models and Talent to be discovered. The knowledge gained at ACTMA through workshops, seminars and direct contact with some of the World’s Top Model and Talent Agents will help on their path to discovery and success.
ACTMA is Atlantic Canada’s leading modelling and talent event boasting some of the largest Local, National and International Modelling/Talent Agents, Dignitaries, Industry Experts and Clients.
ACTMA is more than a three-day event once a year. We are here for models/talents twelve months a year for any information in the industry. All models/talents that enter ACTMA has the opportunity to register with Façade International based in Atlantic Canada.
